(Q) Can you please give an example of a complete street?  (A) It is a defined term in our Official Plan, a street that is designed, built and operated for safe access for all users, future work still needs to be done to establish guidelines.

(Q) Would complete streets typically include a dedicated bike lane?  (A) it could as part of the guideline work that needs to be done can be considered.

(Q) Has there been any push back from the province regarding the Official Plan Amendments?  (A) There have been some informal conversations working with ministry staff to help them understand all the background and why the OPA and CPP are so connected.

Comment regarding the need for secure bike storage/parking at Go Stations to influence using active transportation for the fist/last mile.

(Q) How can the Cycling Committee help and or be involved?  (A) Purpose of today was to provide an update of where we are at.  There will be future opportunities for the committee to provide input, of course one of which will be the complete streets guidelines.
