Approve the minutes from the meeting held January 31, 2023

On motion the minutes from the meeting held January 31, 2023 were approved as presented.

Staff update (Dan Ozimkovic)

Dan was unable to attend the meeting, however he provided the following update for the Clerk to provide to the committee:

• Dan met with the Region of Halton staff regarding Dundas Street (Regional road) widening. Dan informed Region of Halton staff that the City is recommending protected cycling facilities and protected intersection for Dundas Street, the same type of facilities we are building on Plains Road and eventually on Prospect Street. Region of Halton staff will get back to Dan regarding City’s recommendation. Once Dan hears back from the Region, he will update BCC members.

Integrated Transportation Advisory Committee update (Jon Millman)

2023 Workplan and budget discussion

The committee discussed the 2023 workplan and budget for the year.  Suzanne will make the discussed changes  to the workplan and budget for approval at the March meeting.
