The most up to date schedule is attached. 8.42023 Workplan and Budget Action: Committee to meet informally to work on an updated workplan and budget. This will be approved via email and included in the next meeting agenda. 8.5Breakfast at the Bistro 1.Breakfast at the Bistro Information.pdfAction: Kristin to send out poll for the Breakfast at the Bistro volunteering opportunity for BSAC members. 8.6Recap of Burlington Seniors' Centre Visit by Minister Cho and MPP Natalie Pierre Multiple BSAC members were in attendance when Minister Cho and MPP Natalie Pierre visited City Hall and the Burlington Seniors Centre (BSC). At City Hall the Minister and MPP were also joined by Councillors Kearns and Bentivegna. There was an opportunity to discuss government funding, the hearing loop at the BSC and mobi mats at the beach which improve accessibility. The Minister wanted to visit the different rooms in the BSC to see the different programming availability. Programming included yoga, dancing, crafts, lunch. 8.7Advisory Committee Updates No updates at this time. 8.8Orientation Session- April 5 Kristin reminded the committee that an orientation for all new advisory committee members will be on April 5th at 6:30pm.9.Other Business: The committee motioned that they are interested in considering hybrid meetings in the upcoming months. Action: Kristin to work with clerks department to set this up.
